Our Sustainability Expert Exchange includes some of the biggest names in sustainability and sourcing in the foodservice industry, sharing what they are doing to improve the environmental footprint in their restaurant businesses. Whether you need guidance on food sourcing, animal welfare, or compostable foodservice packaging, this group is your window into what fellow restaurant industry leaders are doing and which strategies work best.

The National Restaurant Association Community Platform

We are excited to announce we’ve upgraded our Listserv and have officially launched a new community platform, Restaurant Connect. This platform will provide our members with an exclusive opportunity to engage, network, and connect with other restaurant operators – all through a seamless and intuitive interface. 

The platform gives you the opportunity to:

• Tailor your experience and join multiple discipline groups to receive critical resources and knowledge that will help solve your most pressing challenges.
• Share your expertise, learn from your peers, expand on best practices, and improve your personal knowledge and business operations.
• Continue important conversations before, during and after events.

Expert Exchange Gatherings

Our Expert Exchange Gatherings are a way for our communities to connect virtually. These are collaborative, informal,  operator-led events, and they’re intended to touch on topics that are pressing and relevant to your jobs and to the restaurant industry as a whole. If you attend, you will get the opportunity to meet online with your peers, share, learn, and ask questions in an engaging and safe peer-to-peer environment. At a time when we cannot meet in-person, the need for connection is more important than ever. We are pleased to offer these Gatherings across all our communities on a recurring basis.

Please note the majority of our Gatherings are for National Restaurant Association members only. If you are interested in participating or curious when the next Gathering will be held, you may opt-in here to the community of your choice, and gain access to our upcoming Gatherings.
