On Thursday, May 26 at 2 p.m. ET, Sara Burnett, Panera Bread’s VP of Food Values, Sustainability and Public Affairs, and Edwina Hughes, Head of Cool Food at the World Resources Institute discuss WRI’s Cool Food Meals, a climate friendly certification which empowers the consumer to choose a climate-friendly meal. Panera joined the program in October 2020 and today over 50% of Panera’s menu is Cool Food Meal certified. During the webinar, Sara and Edwina will discuss the importance of clarity and simplicity when communicating climate messages to consumers. They will also share recommendations, an overview of how Panera customers reacted, and how the certification builds customer loyalty.
