Get ready to celebrate 100 years of industry influence when we kick off our annual Restaurant Show, May 18-21, at McCormick Place in Chicago.

In addition to learning about the industry’s latest culinary breakthroughs, attendees will get a look at the newest equipment and technology and listen to bold insights from industry leaders. There’ll also be several festivities honoring our centennial celebration; that’s right, the National Restaurant Association is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.

Attendees will also get the opportunity to take part in interactive education sessions on marketing, culinary insights, beverage alcohol programs, and more. In all, there will be about 100 sessions to participate in. A special focus this year is on hiring and retention – one of operators’ big challenges. Subject matter experts will talk about the latest issues, concerns, and opportunities for advancement in employment and offer operators tips on how to create a stronger workforce.

This year, showgoers will get to check out special exhibits, such as the American Food Fair, Bellavita Italian Pavilion, Beverage Alcohol for Restaurants (BAR), the Organic & Natural Pavilion, and our World Culinary Showcase featuring presentations from some of our industry’s most famous celebrity chefs.

Finally, make sure to see our special programming, including our keynote “Signature” session, moderated by Association President and CEO Dawn Sweeney. Rounding out our new programming are our Digital Media Slam, new Women’s Leadership Panel, and the presentation, “Menu Trends: 2020 and beyond”.
