Menu labeling supplemental guidance

The National Restaurant Association co-hosted a webinar with the Food and Drug Administration to clarify the agency's recently released Menu Labeling Supplemental Guidance.

In this webinar, FDA reviews the new menu labeling rules and describes how to make compliance more manageable. As you know, the FDA’s federal menu labeling rules went into effect May 7, 2018. Restaurants with 20 or more locations are now required to present calorie information on their menus in a consistent manner nationwide, and make other nutrition data available in writing.

View the recorded webinar here.

For more information or questions, please contact FDA Calorie Labeling or Laura Abshire at the National Restaurant Association.
