  Train and Develop Your Staff

Retaining the employees you already have is one of the marks of a good business. Providing your employees with fair, supportive treatment — plus good training and on-the-job experience — not only enhances the quality of your service and products.   Train and Develop Your Staff

Mentoring programs like the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation's ProStart® program bring students into your establishment to learn about the world of work -- and your restaurant specifically.

Many state restaurant associations also have educational arms that raise money for scholarships, encourage hospitality education, and work with restaurant employers interested in providing worksite mentoring.
